The tests, in detail

What you will have to produce, under what conditions, with what feedback and within what time. Everything is published before enrolment, because a test known in advance is a test you can prepare for.

What each test asks of you

The choice of test follows the nature of the skill. An act is demonstrated, a decision is justified, knowledge is recalled: the three formats exist so that assessment measures what it claims to measure.

The conditions of the test

The conditions are published on the course page and repeated on the certificate. They are part of what a verifier consults: knowing the conditions under which a test was taken is what allows its weight to be judged.

  • The time allowed, stated before the paper opens
  • The documents permitted, named one by one
  • The identity check, on certifying tests
  • The pass threshold, set by the framework
  • The number of attempts, included in the amount shown

The timeline of a test

  1. 01

    You book the date

Slots open from enrolment; you pick the one that leaves you time to prepare.

  2. 02

    You prepare against the framework

The published competency blocks say exactly what will be assessed, and in what order.

  3. 03

    You sit the test

Identity is confirmed, the clock runs, the permitted documents are those announced.

  4. 04

    You receive the feedback

The block-by-block breakdown arrives within the published time, followed by the certificate and its verification link.

Questions about the tests

Can I choose the kind of test?

It is set by the framework of the competency assessed, which guarantees that two holders of the same certificate sat the same test. The course page states it before enrolment, with its conditions.

Is a test taken remotely?

Yes for the vast majority, with identity confirmation. The exact conditions are published on the course page, and repeated on the certificate so a third party can take them into account.

What happens to a deliverable I submit?

It belongs to you and you reuse it freely in your job. The institution keeps a record for as long as attestation requires, and the certificate names the competency validated, not the content of your document.
