Thirteen fields, and the exact count of each
Each field's counter is an argument as much as information: it says where the base runs deepest and how far it will carry you. Both deserve to be shown, figures in hand.
The base, in exact figures
These numbers come from the audited base and are published as they stand. The total includes modules still being assigned to a field: counting them in is what makes the figure verifiable line by line.
- modules in the base
- 444
- classified into 13 fields
- 434
- being assigned
- 10
- at advanced level
- 8
Counted in the total: the published figure covers the whole base.
The base makes you operational in the role; expert material is produced to specification.
Depth, field by field
Fields are ranked from the best stocked to the most focused. Where the catalogue is focused, material is produced to specification: that is a capability we state with its lead time, not coverage we would let you assume.

Finding your field in three moves
- 01
Start from the act, not the word
Name the act you want to master — keeping an audit register, building a dashboard, hardening a workstation. The field follows on its own.
- 02
Read the count, then the breakdown
The total states the depth available; the level breakdown states where you come in. Together they give a trajectory, not a list.
- 03
Open the target roles
Every field page describes the roles actually held by those who take it. Recognising yourself in one of those descriptions beats any quiz.
Questions about the fields
Is a better-stocked field a better choice?
Volume states the depth available for going far, not the quality of an entry point. A focused field is perfect when you are after one precise skill; a well-stocked field serves when you target a whole trade.
Can I move across several fields?
That is the rule for career paths: each crosses two to four fields, because a real role respects no such boundary. The path page shows which fields are mobilised and their volume.
How are these counts established?
They come from the audited base of the accreditation file and are published without rounding. A rounded-up count is checked in a single query; this one recomputes line by line in the table above.
Explore in detail
- Industry & HSEHealth, safety, environment and industrial plant operation. It covers the real risks of a site: electrical, mechanical, chemical, fire, work at height, confined spaces — and how to document them so an inspection can verify them.
- AI & dataData analysis, machine learning and professional use of language models. The field runs from a cleaned spreadsheet to a model in production — including the question always forgotten: where does the data come from, and what is it worth.
- FinanceGeneral and cost accounting, treasury management, financial analysis, taxation and banking operations. The field builds on the OHADA framework, applicable in Guinea as in sixteen other states — which makes the skills transferable across borders.
- LegalOHADA business law, employment law, contracts, compliance and data protection. The angle is practical: draft, review, prevent disputes — not comment on case law.
- EntrepreneurshipStarting and running a business: business model, pricing, operations, funding, growth. The field starts from a real activity, often already trading, rather than a theoretical business plan.
- MarketingCustomer acquisition, digital communication, selling and retention. The field covers the channels actually used in the sub-region — instant messaging, social networks, structured word of mouth — rather than tools designed for other markets.
- EducationPedagogy, training delivery, academic support and cross-cutting everyday professional skills: public speaking, writing, work organisation. It is the field that serves a teacher as much as a manager who has to train their own team.
- CybersecurityDigital hygiene, access security, incident response and personal data protection. The field is defensive and organisational before it is technical: you first learn to spot, contain and document an incident.
- DevelopmentBuilding applications and websites, through programming or no-code tools. The field embraces both routes: the second covers a large share of an organisation's needs, and costs weeks rather than years.
- HR & managementRecruitment, HR administration, team leadership and skills development. The field connects two functions wrongly kept apart: managing contracts and helping people grow.
- DesignVisual identity, layout, graphic production and interface design. The aim is legibility and consistency, not effect: an unread document has no value, however handsome.
- HumanitiesSurvey methods, social analysis, written communication and understanding organisations. A small field by volume, focused on running a study and reporting it without distortion.
- LanguagesProfessional communication in a foreign language, usage-oriented: meetings, email, technical documentation. Two modules today — the thinnest field in the catalogue.
